It's Fashion Doll...

Hi, I'm Ciara and I'm a 21 year old fashion graduate currently living in Milton Keynes. Posts consist of personal style, fashion and beauty.

Sunday Funday.

Yesterday I spent my afternoon catching up with an old friend in the pub. Again the weather was wonderful, fingers crossed it stays for the rest of the summer.

I wore my new favourite shorts, with my super cute daisy strappy top and my white kimono.

I finished the outfit with these grey, buckled ankle boots I’ve had for about 4 maybe 5 years now. I forgot how much I loved them until I moved home and unpacked all my stuff.

Summer Time.

How amazing has the weather been lately? It’s so nice to be able to wear summer clothes and not have to wrap up for once.
So today I went for a simple look. I bought these shorts on depop and at first wasn’t to keen but then tried them on and loved them.
I finished the outfit with a white crop top, my Birkenstock style shoes and my Michael Kors bag to add some colour.

Casual Thursday.

Evening everyone. Today’s outfit was based around this fabulous hat I found in my wardrobe. Now, I bought this hat about 3 years ago and I’ve never worn it. I know, shame on me. But when I put this outfit on I felt like something was missing, so I tried the hat and the outfit was complete.

Jumpsuits and Sandals.

Today I wore my bargain jumpsuit I got in the Motel Rocks sale a few weeks ago. It was reduced from £55 to £19! How fab is that? They also have it in blue.
I teamed my jumpsuit with these great Birkenstock dupes from Primark. They were only £5. Yes, I wrote that right, £5!
I finished the outfit with my super cute monochrome backpack from Primark.

June Favourites.

Hello my lovelies.
Today I’m sharing with you what I have been loving in the month of June. How fast did June go? Only seems like yesterday I was seeing One Direction at the start of the month now 4 weeks has past! Crazy.
So here our my 5 favourites of the month;

1) Mac eyelashes. Now I’m not too sure which ones these are as they don’t say, but they are great! I normally wear lashes for nights out and tend to use Eyelure, however I had my makeup done for grad ball at Mac and were given these, and I must say are fab!

2) Boots Simply Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream. I decided to buy an eye cream seeing as I’m at the old age of 21. I didn’t really know what to buy and didn’t want to spend much money, so I picked this one up as it has aloe Vera in it. It was at the bargain price of £1 something. It hydrates really well and my concealer applies a lot better since using it.

3) Girlboss. I’m so in love with this book and Sophia! I read it on holiday and oh my god is she inspiring! The book is a fab read as it tells her story as well as tips and when you’re reading it you just want to get off your butt and do something with your life! A must read for all you fashionistas out there.

4) La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+. This product is raved about on many beauty blogs and I actually picked it up back in February and it is very good. I still have a lot left seeing as I use it twice a day and I’ve had it for 5 months, so the £15 is worth the money. Also I find it does work. Having suffered with terrible acne as a teen and still get the odd spot, I’ve found this product gets rid of them a lot quicker. It’s also meant to help with redness, which I find does help on some days but my skin is a pain in the butt. I do recommend it though.

5) Makeup Academy Undress Me Too Eye Palette. I bought this in May and I really like it. I think it was about £4 something so major bargain! I love the shade Fiery as I think it looks really nice with blue/green eyes. I wear that colour on every night out as I think I’m over my usual dark eyed look.

Stripes, leather, converse.

Hi everyone! So, so sorry I haven’t posted in forever! I’ve been super busy what with finishing Uni, leaving work, moving home and I’ve just got back from holiday. Mad month.
So here’s a quick outfit post from today, and look out for a June favourites post coming tomorrow.

Primark Haul.

While I was at work today, a customer came in wearing this amazing floral skort, so I asked her where it was from and she said Primark for £7. I couldn’t believe it! It looked like a Topshop skort.
So, I made my way to Primark after work and ended up spending £50 and buying everything but the skort.

1) I fell in love with this pajama looking shirt and needed it in my life. It looks so much like a Topshop one I saw a few months ago, however priced at only £12. What a bargain!

2) I’ve been looking for a top like this as it is going to be perfect for summer. It’s a white lace top and at £4 how could you go wrong?

3) Now I saw this bag a few weeks ago and loved it however, for some odd reason didn’t buy it. It’s super cute and bang on trend with the monochrome design and I love the zip going down the middle. It was only £8 so would be silly to leave behind again.

4) I saw this top hanging on it’s own and luckily enough it was in my size. I love the tribal print and the colours. Perfect for summer. This is £14.

5) I love, love, love this bikini top! It is really flattering on and I really like the floral print and colours. I can’t wait to wear it on holiday. Bikini top, £8.

6) Finally, I picked up these cute little paisley shorts to wear around the pool. They are nice and light and I adore paisley print so I had to buy them. And hey, they were only £4.

May Favourites.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of posting. I’ve been super busy doing lots of hours at work to earn some money for the summer.
Now I know it’s nearly the middle of June, but I thought I’d do a quick May Favourites even though there’s only 3 items.

So, my first favourite this month is this fabulous pale blue backpack from Topshop. I bought it at the start of May and I’ve worn it almost everyday. It fits a lot in so is handy for those night away trips and is a perfect colour for summer.

My second favourite is Soap and Glory’s Hand Food. I bought this back in February and it’s still going strong. It’s a great hand cream for me as, my hands get quite dry and this hydrates them while making them super soft.

Finally, I’ve been loving this mascara from Bourjois. It’s their Volume Clubbing Ultra Black mascara and it’s brilliant! I’m quite lucky as I have quite long lashes anyway, but this mascara really makes your eyes pop. I think it was about £8.99 so not too bad. I tried Benefits They’re Real and really didn’t rate it considering the price. I definitely prefer this one and it has lasted a lot longer.

Have you tried any of these products?

Socks and Sandals.

I have to admit, I wasn’t to keen on the whole socks and sandals trend when I first heard about it. However, I must admit it does look super cute with these shoes! I have a slight obsession with white shoes lately. I was meant to wait until payday in 2 weeks, but tried them on and didn’t take them off.
So, I paired this trend with my ‘mom’ jeans, mohair jumper and my oversized coat. I can’t believe I’m still wearing a coat and it’s almost June! Typical English weather.

Boho Summer.

Yesterday’s outfit went fabulously well with the weather. It was so sunny and warm and today it’s cold and rainy. How does that work? Typical England.
So to compliment the weather, I wore my very cute maxi dress I bought from Forever 21 a few weeks ago. I love the pattern and the fact it’s see through half the way down.
I finished the outfit with my kimono and heeled boots.
